The Find Cancer Early campaign

Find Cancer Early is a community-based awareness campaign that focuses on the 5 most common cancers in Western Australia - bowel, breast, lung, prostate and skin cancer.

The Find Cancer Early campaign, coordinated by Cancer Council WA and sponsored by the Government of Western Australia Department of Health, aims to increase awareness of the early signs and symptoms of bowel, breast, lung, prostate and skin cancer in people aged over 40 years living in regional Western Australia.  The campaign encourages people to find cancer early and tell their doctor or health worker without delay.  As well as increasing symptom awareness, the campaign aims to break down some of the barriers and myths to seeking help.

Find Cancer Early promotes the message that the earlier cancer is found, the greater the chance of successful treatment.

If you live in regional WA and would like to order campaign materials (DVDs, postcards, posters or flyers) to promote the Find Cancer Early message in your community, please contact us.
